Traditional Style 3 Bed Semi Detached Village House with land near Tomar

The property, which was constructed in 1861, is semi-detached and butts onto a cafe. The property is situated on a road within the village of Fungalvaz, but has a private courtyard garden area as well as fertile land with a variety of mature fruit trees. The property is set over two floors, however the ground floor at present is given over for storage purposes. The living accommodation is currently only situated on the first floor. The property, which has carved stone window and doors surrounds, briefly comprises: Ground Floor: The ground floor of the property has a large, arched entrance doorway which leads into a double room height space. This room currently has a dirt floor and the windows and door frames, which are wooden, would need replacing. There is a wooden staircase off this first room which leads to the living accommodation. There are further storage rooms to the ground floor, which have large, arched openings onto the patio/courtyard garden area. First Floor: The living accommodation is accessed via a carved stone external staircase which leads up to a veranda. The main entrance to the house has double opening traditional style doors. These lead into a spacious hallway, which has a wooden floor and ceiling. There is a set of glazed doors at the end of the hallway which opens out onto a 'Juliet' style balcony. Off this hallway there are three bedrooms, all of which have double opening doors with glazed panels above. The bedrooms all have wooden floors and ceilings. There is a rustic style kitchen with a traditional, large fireplace. There is a living room to this floor, which also has a wooden floor and ceiling. Attic: The property also has an attic which has a wooden floor and wooden beamed roof. The attic space could be converted into additional living accommodation if require, though has been used for storage purposes only. The property is situated in the village of Fungalvaz, which has several cafes and a small shop as well as a train station (mainline). Although situated on a road, the property has ample off street parking and there is a large, traditional vehicle entrance gate to the side of the house, leading to the garden and land. The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a quarter hours' drive.
